The Library, along with the Leavenworth County Council on Aging, is hosting Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), which is a service provided free of charge by tax volunteers. This year the Library is offering appointments on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-6 p.m. beginning Feb. 8 and ending Mar. 3. All appointments for this date are full. The Council on Aging is still taking appointments for age 60 and older.
